Mike Diaz

A former professional standout, Mike brings the experience of competing at the highest levels directly to every athlete he trains. His deep relationships with college programs across the country have helped dozens of Hawaiian athletes earn scholarship opportunities.

Mike played for the Cubs, Phillies, Pirates, and White Sox, as well as internationally for Puerto Rico and in Japan for the Chiba Lotte Marines. When he teaches, it comes from experience that can't be faked — he's lived the recruiting process from both sides and knows exactly what D1, D2, and D3 programs are looking for.

Mike has coached at the amateur, collegiate (softball and baseball), and professional level for baseball, both in the United States and internationally.

At Ho'oilina Group, Mike leads small-group training that gives every athlete real coaching attention. His philosophy: build the complete player — mechanics, mindset, and the recruiting profile that opens doors.
